For Series 2 of the gripping time-travel drama Space Digital have once again created the key moment of the series climax.

Without revealing too much of the shock ending VFX Supervisor Matt Wood explains, 'Like the Series 1 ending, we needed to create an effect that was so transparent to the viewer that they would be concentrating on nothing but the story revelations. At the same time, shooting conditions were not ideal and we had to work with some very difficult tracking issues to ensure a seamless final result.'

Space also contributed to earlier episodes with a range of invisible enhancements, including adjustments to a dog's facial expressions, alterations to the flow of liquid concrete, and the addition of modern characters into archive film.

Following Ashes to Ashes, Space's VFX team are moving onto a brand new BBC drama with more tangled temporal twists.
